- Film Metadata: Title, synopsis, runtime, genre, language, country of production, and promotional stills or official poster artwork.
- Screener Information: Streaming video links (e.g., private Vimeo, YouTube unlisted, or Google Drive) and access passwords provided for evaluation purposes.
- Payment Verification: Transaction reference numbers (UTR/Transaction ID) and uploaded payment receipts for registration fee verification.
2. How We Use Your Information
Collected data is strictly used for festival operations:
- Processing entry registrations, confirming fee verification, and issuing official entry numbers.
- Enabling secure screening access for jury members to assess and score competition films.
- Communicating selection status, scheduling, award announcements, and festival notifications.
- Publishing official festival catalogs, schedules, and promotional materials for accepted films (titles, director credits, and posters only).
3. Protection of Screener Links & Intellectual Property
We treat all submitted screener links, video files, and unreleased creative works with strict confidentiality:
- Private screener URLs and passwords are accessible solely to the authorized festival convenor and verified jury members via encrypted, password-protected portals.
- We do not share, distribute, publicize, or broadcast screener links to third parties or general audiences.
- All intellectual property rights and copyrights remain entirely with the respective filmmakers and rights holders.
4. Data Retention & Security
Your personal information is securely stored in authenticated databases with role-based security policies. We do not sell, rent, or commercialize filmmaker contact information or participant records to any external advertising networks or commercial entities.
